Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)

Location: Woodbridge

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 30–40 hours per week (3–4 days per week)

Shift Times: Approximately 09:30/10:00 AM start – finish around 8:00 PM

Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)


Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our client's dynamic kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to contribute to a professional culinary environment, where quality, consistency, and teamwork are highly valued.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard within your section
  2. Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all food items
  3. Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times
  4. Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs
  5. Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  6. Support junior staff with training and development as required

Candidate Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
  2. Strong understanding of kitchen operations and modern cooking techniques
  3. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills
  5. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
  6. Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable but not essential
