About us Loch Rannoch Hotel and Estate is a 4 country house hotel with several restaurants, ranging from gastro-pub (The Wild Brownie Bar) to our 1 AA Rosette A la carte restaurant (The Estate Room).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of the kitchen and work areas
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and menu items
  • Help with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Skills: Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and preparation techniques to maintain food safety standards
  • Food preparation: Proficiency in preparing ingredients, measuring portions, and following recipes accurately
  • Cook: Ability to cook various dishes, including grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, etc.
  • Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Meal preparation: Skill in preparing meals efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Kitchen: Understanding of kitchen equipment, tools, and procedures for efficient food preparation
  • Culinary: Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and an interest in learning new cooking methods
