Job description

Do you have a sense of adventure and a desire to make a lasting mark in a renowned setting? Are you ready to trade the hustle and bustle of the city for a truly unique lifestyle? We have a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join an iconic island venue in Argyll and Bute.

No need to worry about the daily grind of commuting, your cosy accommodation is on-site, giving you the freedom to fully immerse yourself in island living. You will also receive an annual salary of £27,000 - £28,000 per annum, delicious meals on shift, the opportunity to earn generous tips and learn from the highly talented Head Chef.

Responsibilities within your new role as the Chef de Partie
In this role, you’ll ensure proper portion control as directed by the Head Chef, operate and clean kitchen equipment safely, following maintenance and cleaning schedules. You'll keep work areas clean, safe, and organised, support junior team members, and strictly adhere to all Health, Safety, Hygiene, Fire Regulations, and Emergency Procedures to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.

Your personality, experience and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Chef de Partie and be confident managing your own section. While previous island living experience is a plus, it’s not essential. A positive attitude and a willingness to take on challenges with a “can-do” approach are key.
