Chef de Partie – £13 – £14 per hour plus cash tips – West Lothian

Join our dynamic team as a Chef de Partie covering several of our venues in West Lothian. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in our culinary operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes for our valued customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and talented chef to further develop their culinary skills and engage in a wide range of innovative cooking styles. If you have a passion for food, culinary arts, and maintaining excellent food safety standards, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your designated section.
  • Being responsible for the kitchen team and reporting to the company executive chef
  • Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking processes as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient work environment in the kitchen.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Experience in cooking, meal preparation, or working in a restaurant setting is beneficial.
