Job summary

The Ship in Plymouth's Barbican area is recruiting a part-time Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll cook with locally sourced produce, ensure recipes and procedures are followed, and adapt dishes to meet guest needs in a fast-paced environment.

Join a friendly, customer-focused venue with a thriving atmosphere, great views, and opportunities for in-house training and progression within St Austell Brewery’s pub estate.

Qualifications

• Ambitious Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
• You will work as a team ensuring procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met.
• You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes to adapt the offer to meet business needs.

You’ll be working at a popular pub that buzzes with tourists and locals alike throughout the year, who a drawn to a quality menu and an enviable outdoor seating area that lies beside one of the city’s most pleasing views.
