The Harbour Light in Paignton, part of St Austell Brewery, is hiring a chef for a part-time role in a busy coastal pub and restaurant. You’ll work with locally sourced produce, deliver quality dishes and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a supportive team.

Passion for great food, teamwork and flexible working are valued. The role includes in-house training, staff meal on shifts and opportunities to develop within our Devon venues.

Qualifications

• Ambitious Chef with experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Works as part of a team and follows procedures for each dish.
• Utilises flexible menu-writing processes to adapt offers.

The Harbour Light is perfectly perched along the waterfront in Paignton. Occupying one of the finest spots in the area, it’s a popular spot for locals and visitors alike throughout the year.

You’ll be working in a contemporary pub and restaurant that’s well located for access to a wealth of South Devon’s most cherished coastal locations.

Part‑time opportunity! Are you an ambitious Chef with experience of working in a fast‑paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to provide quality food that delights our guests. As a chef you will work as a team ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
