Job description

Here at Sodexo, our talented Chefs, use their passion to create fresh, vibrant meals, using the finest ingredients! We have a vacancy for you to join our busy team as a Chef de Partie at Newcastle United Football Club.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for supporting the team in maintaining the highest standards in the preparation, presentation, and service of food.

Ideally, you’ll have:

· NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

· Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates.

Role Responsibility

• To ensure the preparation of all food processing.
• To ensure the quality of the product and standards of hygiene within the Kitchen facilities conform to the criteria set out in the SOP.
• Reporting all defects of equipment, damage to materials, and any incidents involving theft to management.
• Keep the detailed cleaning schedule for all kitchen, stores, and related areas up to date, ensuring that these are strictly adhered to and work is carried out to a satisfactory standard.
• Preparing orders in accordance with company procedures, verifying accurate delivery against delivery note/invoice and the original order itself.
• Ensure completion of all necessary stock control documentation in accordance with internal accounting procedures.
• Ensure that accurate fridge and food temperatures are recorded.
• Ensure all protective clothing is worn and personal hygiene and appearance are adhered to.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous Chef experience
• Organisation Skills
• Good Administration Skills
• Must be available to work weekends
• IOSH and Food Safety Level 3 Certificates
• Previous Conference and Banqueting Experience

Package Description

• £14.50 per hour
• 5 out of 7 days a week
