Job description

Shepherd Neame is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. If you have previous catering experience, are seeking a new challenge, and want to advance your career in the kitchen, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Located in Bearstead, near Maidstone, the Oak on the Green is situated on one of England's most picturesque village greens. Established in 1665, the Oak Inn has hosted notable visitors including Baroness Orczy, creator of the Scarlet Pimpernel, and cricketer Alfred Percy 'Tich' Freeman. Today, it is renowned for using locally sourced ingredients across its extensive menu, offering both British and Mexican cuisines.

We believe that excellent chefs are essential to a successful kitchen. As part of our friendly and supportive team, you will play a vital role in ensuring outstanding service and food quality for our guests.

If you have proven catering experience, a passion for food, motivation, and are a team player, we are willing to train you and teach you everything else you need to know.
