We are looking for an experienced chef de partie to join our team at AGORA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced and dynamic kitchens, and most importantly, take pride in the food you create. You’ll be cooking in a kitchen that cares about the quality of the food it sends out, working with fresh produce from top suppliers, alongside a well-established, close-knit team.
AGORA is a vibrant restaurant inspired by the energy of Athens’s markets and streets, and the flavors of Greece and the wider Levant. Located in the heart of London’s Borough Market, it is the latest project by the dcco. collective (Manteca, SMOKESTAK). The site has been thoughtfully restored with natural, repurposed materials evoking the raw Greek landscapes. Features include a custom-built rotisserie, open fires, hand-pulled flatbreads, seasonal vegetables, hearty stews, a stone slab bar serving cocktails, premium roasted coffee, and rustic baked goods. Our cuisine emphasizes minimizing waste and maximizing flavor, honoring resourceful cooking techniques from diverse cultures. Our hospitality aims to mirror the warmth of these cultures, with a menu that evolves seasonally, showcasing the best ingredients.
Under the same roof, we operate two restaurants showcasing Mediterranean food, wine, and design—AGORA & OMA—in a thoughtfully renovated site in Borough Market.
