Job description

About The Other House

The Other House is a new lifestyle brand of Residents Clubs redefining the hospitality market. Effortlessly combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel services, residents can stay for a day or a year - think hotel meets private members club. It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.

Launched in 2019, The Other House is a joint venture partnership between London Central Portfolio (LCP), leading real estate investment advisory in Prime Central London and APG, the largest pension provider in the Netherlands.

Role: Chef de Partie

Remuneration: £16.85 per hour, inclusive of minimum tronc.

Working hours: 40 per week, 5 days out of 7.

The Other House are looking for a dynamic and energetic CDP who has a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This individual needs to have a background in a supervisory role, working in a commercial kitchen with focus on creating memorable moments through food. We are looking for an individual who effectively will deliver entrepreneurial dining experiences with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology. For us, there is ‘inside the box’, there is ‘outside the box’ and then there is our Other House Team – passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.

The CDP will report to the Head Chef and the Junior Sous Chef on a property level and will support in making sure that the kitchen operation is running smoothly, is fully compliant with all rules and regulations, as well as meeting all targets, including financial goals, team member performances and resident/member satisfaction. The CDP will also make sure that the team feels motivated and supported.
