We are hiring for a Chef de Partie!

Your new career at the The Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel

Situated in the heart of one of London’s most alluring locales, our luxury hotel is close to Hyde Park, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, and the city's stylish dining spots. Our elegant lobby and reception blend timeless elegance with contemporary design. The hotel features 251 spacious accommodations with views of London and Hyde Park, including suites with Park Tower Butler service and breathtaking city vistas.

Position Summary

Prepare special meals or substitute items. Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures. Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator. Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing. Maintain food logs. Monitor food quality and quantity. Communicate during busy periods. Inform Chef of excess food for specials. Notify staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items. Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards. Prepare cold foods.

Additional Duties

Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff; serve as a role model. Follow safety and security policies; report maintenance, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality. Address guest needs. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships, support team goals, and respond to colleagues' concerns. Adhere to quality standards. Stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, twist, and lift objects up to 25 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in related work.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

Certifications: None required.
