Job summary

The Coal Shed London, part of Black Rock Restaurants, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team near Tower Bridge. You will deliver dishes crafted from high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, working under pressure to maintain the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full-time in the UK.
• Experience as Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen preferred.
• A passion for quality ingredients and different cooking methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dishes to the highest standard using fresh, local ingredients.
• Support the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Assist in ensuring consistent portion sizes and plating quality.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Coal Shed.

You could expect to earn up to £43,000 per annum, inclusive of tronc.

Salary is £12.71 per hour plus tronc. Tronc is variable and is based on the restaurant’s business levels, performance and how many hours worked.

The Coal Shed London celebrates coal-roasted rare breed heritage meat and South Coast seafood, inspired by Founder Raz Helalat’s Persian roots by cooking over fire.

Located moments away from Tower Bridge, the restaurant offers a seasonal a la carte menu, daily specials, sharing fish and meat dishes, and an award-winning Sunday sharing roast.

Occupying two floors, The Coal Shed London is a modern open-plan grill restaurant with a private dining room and cocktail bar.

As a Chef de Partie you will deliver dishes made with quality food and products, from fresh, using local products, prepared with skill and passion. You will be working as part of a diverse, inclusive and supportive team, making sure each dish is prepared to the highest standard.
