Position OverviewOur clientis seeking a passionate skilled Chef de Partie to join their dynamic kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional environment while contributing to the establishment's reputation for outstanding food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and run a designated section of the kitchen
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant's exacting standards
  • Ensure all food preparation meets health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Supervise and mentor commis chefs and kitchen assistants in their section
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal dish creation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of their work area and equipment
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy service periods

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role
  • Culinary qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Excellent knife skills and classical cooking techniques
