Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations. The role focuses on preparing fresh seasonal dishes, working with a dedicated team, and supporting breakfast and lunch service in a busy school environment.

You will cook from scratch, maintain brand standards, and uphold food hygiene policies. The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with pay at £15.19 per hour, and a range of staff benefits and opportunities for progression.

Salary: £15.19 per Hour
Hours: 35 per week

A top performing prep school in Birmingham for children from Nursery to Year 8. Catering for just under 600 students and teachers daily.

We are looking for a talented Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Birmingham

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities

• To work well in a team, Working alonside assisting the Chef team .. providing Breakfast & Lunch
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge / competencies

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
