Job description

MAIN DUTIES

As Chef de Partie, you will be a vital part of our high performing brigade and will be producing delicious food. You will be developing your skills under the guidance of our talented Head Chef.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Control the order and storage of food supplies.
• Support other team members across the kitchen.
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Be able to deliver exceptional food service, taking full responsibility for your section before, during and after service.
• Ensuring the safety, security and appropriate storage, labelling and dating of all food stock following the appropriate legislation and company policy.
• Be a team player with good communication, time keeping and organisational skills.


DAY IN THE LIFE
Starting the day by checking inventory and ensuring ingredients are ready.
Overseeing their section's output, managing time pressures, and maintaining stock levels.
Providing guidance and training to junior staff.
Working with other sections to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Preparing prep lists for the next day and managing their section's part in special events.
Recording important information such as temperature checks and food storage records.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• As a chef de partie, you will have previous experience in a similar role with a proven ability to produce high quality food,
