We are actively seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade at Hillfield Kitchen, where we create dishes for our hyper-local English brasserie restaurant. Your main focus will be to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in food preparation and service, maintaining the highest standards at all times.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist the brigade in the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation.
- Help develop creative menus and ensure the quality of food meets the high standards expected of the restaurant.
- Provide feedback from colleagues and guests to the Sous Chef.
- Assist in other sections and mentor junior staff such as the Commis Chef and Demi CDP.
- Support daily ordering, considering stock usage, menu planning, and business levels.
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritization standards.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a high-quality hotel or restaurant environment.
- Passion for food with enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines.
- Willingness to meet high standards demanded by a luxury establishment.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and innovation.
- Experience supervising and guiding others.
