Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an ambitious and competent Chef De Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences. This full-time role is contracted to 40 hours per week and offers opportunities to progress within a market-leading food service company in the UK.

You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and help develop new concepts while upholding hygiene standards and brand integrity across client sites.

Qualifications

• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Ability to supervise a team and lead a shift.
• Flexible and physically fit for a busy kitchen.
• Excellent English communication.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations
• Catering for ages 10 – 18 Plus adult staff body over 1,000 meals

We're currently recruiting an ambitious and competent Chef De Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full time basis contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

Our ideal Chef will:

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Min NVQ level 3 or up to 706/2 and above C&G
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working
• Physically fit for the demands of a busy kitchen
• Excellent communication skills – good command of English and written English
• Can lead a shift
