Compass Group UK&I, delivering hospitality at Chartwells sites, is recruiting a Chef De Partie for a full-time role (40 hours per week). You will prepare and serve high-quality meals, lead kitchen tasks, and help evolve menus to delight clients and staff.

You’ll join a team that values quality, compliance with hygiene standards, and development opportunities through our Career Pathways and MyLearning programmes. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C&G qualification.
• Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong English communication and adherence to food safety.

Responsabilités

• Assist with new menus and creative concepts; maintain hygiene.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious and competent Chef De Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full time basis contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations
• Catering for ages 10 – 18 Plus adult staff body over 1,000 meals

Our Ideal Chef Will

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Min NVQ level 3 or up to 706/2 and above C&G
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef roleHold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working
• Physically fit for the demands of a busy kitchen
• Excellent communication skills – good command of English and written English
• Can lead a shift
