Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited is seeking an Assistant Chef / Cook for Goodwin Court Retirement Community in Barnet. This part-time role supports the Chef in preparing nutritious, restaurant-quality meals in a calm, structured kitchen environment.

You will help deliver high standards of food and dining experience for residents, with opportunities for funded hospitality qualifications and career progression within a not-for-profit organisation.

• Experience working in a catering environment and cooking for diverse groups.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a kitchen environment.
• Friendly and approachable, with great customer interaction skills is essential.

We’re excited to welcome a Assistant Chef / Cook to support the preparation of nutritious, restaurant-quality meals at our Goodwin Court Retirement Community in 52 Church Hill Road, Barnet, London EN4 8FH, without the long hours or split shifts often found in hospitality. Working alongside the Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering high standards of food, presentation, and dining experience within a calm, well-structured kitchen environment.

Your role

Your skills

• Experience working in a catering environment and cooking for diverse groups
• Level 1 or 2 Food Hygiene qualification
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a kitchen environment
• Friendly and approachable, with great customer interaction skills is essential
