Hurworth House are recruiting a cook to join their catering team! We are looking for passionate people who can promote healthy eating and provide varied meals that meet care standards and contribute to the wellbeing of our Children and Young People. In this role, you will be responsible for cooking, menu planning, shopping, and adhering to budgets to deliver healthy, varied, and nutritious diets for young people and staff. You will also ensure the kitchen and related areas are kept to high hygiene standards, including food and equipment storage.

Hurworth House School provides specialist education for boys and girls with SEMH difficulties and autism. Our staff are highly trained, skilled, and experienced in supporting and educating our children, many with co-morbid diagnoses. The school is registered to educate up to 80 students aged 5 to 19 years across primary, middle, and upper schools.
