Lyndon Hall Care Home in West Bromwich is seeking a Chef Assistant to prepare and serve nutritious meals, aligning with individual dietary needs. You will help ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety while supporting menu planning and varied dining experiences.

Lyndon Hall Care Home is a 79 bed care home located in West Bromwich, West Midlands. Providing residential, nursing and dementia care, the home offers a welcoming and supportive environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care. With a focus on promoting independence, wellbeing and meaningful daily experiences, Lyndon Hall is a rewarding place to work and make a genuine difference to the lives of Residents every day.

• £13.60 to £13.95 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid PVG/DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Chef Assistant, you will play an important role in preparing and delivering high quality, nutritious meals that support wellbeing and enhance daily life. This is a rewarding position where your cooking brings comfort, routine and enjoyment to those you support.

You will prepare and serve meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times. Working with fresh ingredients, you will support menu planning and contribute to a varied and balanced dining experience.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. With no late evenings or split shifts, this role offers a consistent routine and strong work life balance while still allowing you to take pride in delivering quality food every day.
