The 5* Merchant Hotel in Belfast is a harmonious blend of Victorian grandeur and Art Deco inspired sleek modernity. There is a very talented brigade of chefs preparing award winning cuisine. Everything is made from the finest fresh, seasonal produce and the standards are incredibly high. Due to our continued success and popularity, this is a very busy kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have plenty of passion and ambition demonstrating at least one year’s experience working at this level, ideally have completed or currently completing NVQ Level 2 in a kitchen/food related discipline (but not essential) and experience working within a similar busy kitchen environment.

The successful individual will also have drive and determination to succeed in their career along with a commitment to the continued success of our food offering, along with a desire for using high quality ingredients in formal settings.
