This role is being advertised as a full-time position for 40 hours a week; however, we are flexible and welcome applicants who can work within the hours of 9:30am - 2:30pm on a flexible contract.

Job scope:

• Prepare and cook food following all hygiene and safety guidelines
• Control all food leaving the kitchen
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and kitchen cleanliness
• Deliver exceptional customer service

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook all food
• Monitor and guide kitchen staff
• Assist in developing person-centred, healthy menus
• Complete all legal and company documentation
• Work closely with the line manager on food issues
• Keep food prep areas clean and organized
• Manage stock rotation, stock takes, and ordering
• Ensure equipment safety and cleanliness
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Support the service's aims and objectives
• Perform other reasonable duties as required
• Adhere to health and safety policies, identify hazards, and undertake risk assessments
