Job summary

Hartford Care in Winchester is seeking a warm-hearted Chef to provide nutritious, home-cooked meals for residents at Tegfield House. You will plan, prepare and present meals, assist with menu ideas and participate in activities like bread-making while maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards.

This part-time position (30 hours per week) offers an attractive £2,000 attraction payment, ongoing team support and a chance to contribute to a caring community.

The Role

As a Chef, you will provide home-cooked, nutritious and appetising meals and snacks for residents while ensuring good food hygiene is maintained at all times, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing and cooking a three-course meal, discussing with residents what they would like to see on next week’s menu, doing a bread-making activity session with residents, or carrying out a deep clean of the kitchen, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
