ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is recruiting a dedicated Chef (Zero Hours) to support Defence operations on a permanent casual basis.

As a Chef (Zero Hours), you will prepare high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and respond to customer feedback while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
• Have City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations

Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Chef (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers

• Have a flexible approach to working
