Job summary

St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston, is seeking a qualified and experienced chef to join The Orangery Café and inpatient unit. You will prepare and cook high-quality, fresh meals in a high-volume kitchen, maintaining standards under pressure while communicating clearly with the team.

The role requires hands-on experience with kitchen equipment, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Weekend rota is part of the schedule.

A qualified and experienced chef who can work well under pressure preparing and cooking quality fresh food. Experience working in a high-volume kitchen. Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. A self-motivated team player. Willingness to learn and strive in a fast-paced environment.
