Job summary

Loungers in Truro is hiring Chefs to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll cook to spec, support the Head Chef, and help keep standards high from prep to plate. This is a flexible, all-day role with opportunities across our growing brand of lounges.

We offer up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals, 50% off food and drinks from day one, and genuine career development through bite-size training courses.

Qualifications

• Experience as Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high‑volume kitchen.
• A passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Energy, pace and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety & allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience.
