Job summary

Loungers plc is seeking Chefs to join the kitchen team at Varo Lounge, part of a growing casual dining group. Earn up to £12.71/hr plus tips, enjoy staff meals, 50% food & drink discounts from day one, and access to career development opportunities.

You’ll cook to spec, support the Head Chef, keep the kitchen clean and safe, follow allergen controls, and collaborate with FOH to ensure a superb guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• A passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Reliable and punctual with consistent performance.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain standards.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience.
