Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an ambitious Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food that brightens clients' and customers' days, while contributing to a market-leading food service operation in the UK.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee menu changes and implement updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Respond to customer feedback to continuously improve service.
• Assist with creation of new menus and creative concepts.
• Represent CH&CO maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.

Job description

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for CH&CO on a full time basis contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations

Our ideal Chef will:

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
• Have experience supervising a team
• Have experience in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Have a flexible approach to working
