Job description

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for 14Forty on a part-time basis, contracted to 28 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Shift Pattern

5 out of 7 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening to and acting on customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Supporting the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts.
• Representing 14Forty and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to ensure kitchens are well-stocked.
• Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning responsibilities.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
• Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Holds a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
