Job summary

Anchor Hanover is seeking a dedicated Care Home Chef at Thameside in West Molesey. You will join a small kitchen team to prepare nutritious, tasty meals for around 60 residents each day, with creative menu input and a focus on dietary needs.

The role offers 4 long days with weekends off in rotation, a supportive environment, and not-for-profit benefits. You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager to ensure high standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing meals for residents in a care setting.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and menu design.
• Ability to work as part of a small kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef Manager in delivering nutritious, visually appealing meals for 60 residents daily.
• Contribute to menu design and use of seasonal produce.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
• In the Chef Manager's absence, run kitchen operations to keep service smooth.
