McMullen & Sons Ltd. is seeking a Chef for our High Street Premium concept. You will join a long-established family business dedicated to quality, guest focus and potential growth. You’ll be trained, coached and encouraged to advance within the company.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.76, shift flexibility and weekly pay, with opportunities for enhanced bank holiday pay and live-in accommodation if required. Training and apprenticeships are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential.
• Positive, hands-on approach and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification to ensure our guests return again and again.
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of company paperwork with regards to such standards.
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food.
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

The right person will have a positive, hands on approach, good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential however further training and development will be given in house and also in our Development Kitchen in Hertford.

Salary: £12.76 per hour
