Our client is a family-run restaurant serving a wide range of meals from Sunday lunches to weddings, party nights, private functions, buffets, afternoon teas and lots in between.

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join their fast-paced kitchen, responsible for preparing and serving hot starters and main courses.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Experience with banqueting and function catering is highly desirable
  • Own transport and a valid UK driving licence are essential due to our rural location
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen regulations
  • Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene
  • Ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

What will your role look like?

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed in the kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage food production to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for our customers
