Amica Care Trust operates Exmouth House in Exmouth, Devon. We are seeking a Chef to join our catering team for 27 hours per week in a permanent role, with shifts arranged to provide a better work-life balance.

You’ll prepare fresh, nutritious meals tailored to residents’ needs, support menu development and seasonal events, and uphold food safety and presentation standards while building meaningful relationships with residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2+ in catering.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Level 3 Hygiene desirable.

Responsabilités

The Role

Working as part of our catering team, you'll prepare and cook delicious, nutritious meals tailored to residents' individual needs and preferences, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.

You'll support menu development, seasonal events and special occasions, helping to ensure every mealtime is something residents look forward to.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience as a Chef or Cook
• Holds a catering qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or above)
• Has a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 desirable)
• Takes pride in producing quality food
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Has a caring, customer-focused approach

Experience within care or healthcare is welcome but not essential.
