• Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential.

Overview

Chef opportunity at our Classic Pubs concept, part of the McMullen Family. We are an independent, long established, family‑run business that values home‑grown talent. Part time.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification to ensure our guests return again and again
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completing company paperwork related to such standards
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food
• Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment

Qualifications & Expectations

• Previous experience of working within a busy kitchen is essential
• Positive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Further training and development will be provided in house and in our Development Kitchen in Hertford
