Job summary

Cowper Arms is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a vibrant pub environment. You will lead a section, coach teammates, and ensure dishes are cooked to brand standards, while supporting stock control and ordering to set the team up for success.

• Support the chefs in your team to deliver top quality standards on every shift.
• Run your own section as a kitchen team leader and develop management and leadership skills.
• Support with stock control and ordering so you’re set up for success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and ensure high-quality, on-brand dishes.
• Support daily operations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior staff to uphold standards and teamwork.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and cost control.
• Work with the team to ensure a smooth service during shifts.
