Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an ambitious Chef to deliver high-quality meals for Healthcare clients on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

You'll play a key role in menu development, food safety, and service, with opportunities for progression within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Shift pattern is 5 out of 7 days, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen environment.
• Experience in a similar Chef role and a flexible approach to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting with new menus and creative concepts.
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare on a full time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
