Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team at the Colchester Stanway nursery. You will prepare nutritious meals supporting children's growth and development, while ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene in a nurturing early years environment.

The ideal candidate has a Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2+) and prior experience in catering or kitchen operations, with empathy for every child’s unique needs.

• Experience in catering or kitchen operations.
• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) is preferred.
• Empathy and understanding - each child is unique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary needs.
