Job Introduction

As a Chef at Sodexo in Ferryfield house Hospital, Edinburgh, you will be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. You will have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional. If you are a team player, then join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

  1. Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications
  2. Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  3. Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised

What you bring:

  1. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience
  2. Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking
  3. Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect

18 Hours per week
Saturday and Sunday 08:00- 17:30
£13.50 per hour
Parking on-site with Frequent transport links close by
