Job summary

Loungers is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at Calico Lounge. We offer up to £12.71/hr + tips, breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. This is a flexible role with opportunities for part-time or full-time work across our lounges.

You’ll work with a busy kitchen, ensuring dishes hit spec, maintain high standards, and support the Head Chef. Ideal for a Chef de Partie, Line Chef or Grill Chef in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Team player with good communication.
• Energetic, fast-paced with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in Grill/Line Chef in high-volume kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas to all-day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work with FOH to deliver a great guest experience.
