Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an ambitious Chef for a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) to deliver high-quality meals for Defence sites. You will prepare and serve food, manage menus and respond to client feedback, while upholding stringent hygiene standards and brand expectations.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, has team supervision experience, and a Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional food preparation.
• Experience supervising a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations.

Job description

We're currently recruiting anambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on afull time basis contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

As a Chef, you will beresponsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens ourclients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food servicecompany in the UK. Your Key Responsibilities Willinclude
