Are you a passionate and skilled chef looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated Care Home Chef to join our team and bring nutritious, delicious meals to our residents.
About the Role
As a Chef, working in a care home, you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life through thoughtfully prepared, home-cooked meals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare a variety of nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
• Work closely with care staff to accommodate residents’ preferences and special dietary needs.
• Manage kitchen stock, orders, and budget effectively.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

About You
We are looking for a chef who is:

• Experienced in cooking for large groups, ideally in a care, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
• Passionate about food and nutrition, with an understanding of dietary needs, including soft diets and allergies.
• A team player with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Qualified in Food Safety & Hygiene (Level 2 or higher preferred).
