Job description

Snowdon Village, an alternative provision in Redfield, Bristol, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves preparing meals for students and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.

The successful candidate will work from 7:00 am to prepare breakfast, snacks, and lunch, then clean the kitchen and prepare for the next day. We seek a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

About you:

  • Understanding of working conditions in a busy kitchen.
  • Formal training in COSHH, HACCP, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling.
  • Experience catering for educational settings or events like weddings and buffets.
  • Supervisory experience in catering.
  • High hygiene standards.
  • Patience, calmness, and ability to work under pressure.
