Job description

We are on the lookout for a temporary Chef for our Client based in Barrow-in-Furness! This is a temp role which would become permanent for the right Candidate

• Job Title: Chef
• Location: Barrow-in-Furness
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Working Pattern: Full Time
• Hourly Rate: 16 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
• Start Date: 1st July 2025
• End Date: 31st July 2025
• Driving Required: No

What You'll Do:

As our Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering mouth-watering meals that delight our staff and guests. Your creativity and passion for food will shine through as you prepare and present a variety of dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the team to design exciting menus that cater to a variety of tastes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.

• A passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food safety practises.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with others.
