Qualifications

  • Possible kitchen experience as Kitchen Porter, Assistant, or Commis Chef.
  • Driven and positive attitude.
  • Strong knowledge of allergens and food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes to specification in a clean kitchen.
  • Follow Head Chef's lead for prep and par.

Job description

You'll be part of a dedicated, supportive team, working from our flexible all-day menu to give people food that will make their day. It will be your responsibility to make each dish to specification, in a clean and safe kitchen, and to follow the lead of your Head Chef to ensure all prep and par are completed for each shift. You'll be helping every customer leave happy—thanks to your great food.

What you'll bring:

  • You may already have some kitchen experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant, or Commis Chef, or this might be your first time in a kitchen.
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices regarding allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety.
