Extons Foods Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Goods Operative to unload deliveries, book in items, and ensure inbound checks are completed accurately. You will use MHE and scanners, maintain records, and support warehouse operations.

The role requires QA/food-safety experience, a strong understanding of HACCP, GMP and BRC standards, and excellent attention to detail. You will work Monday to Friday in a site-based role with opportunities to support other teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA or food safety within food manufacturing is essential.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and BRC standards is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Clear communication across all levels of the business is important.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries using forklift and pump truck.
• Book in deliveries accurately in the warehouse system.
• Maintain records and follow goods intake procedures.
• Put away and move material using a scanner.
• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Adhere to hygiene and food safety standards.
• Support Debox production and Packing Room when needed.
• Assist Out-loading team during busy periods.
