Main Job Summary

• Deliver penetration testing services including vulnerability assessments, onsite check penetration tests, device health checks, build reviews, red team, and advanced testing simulations.
• Specialize in network infrastructure penetration tests.
• Conduct technical security tests to identify vulnerabilities, ensuring activities are lawful and compliant.
• Work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-standard consultancy services.
• Communicate risks effectively to technical and executive audiences.
• Prepare detailed technical reports that exceed client expectations.
• Deliver work under CHECK scheme and standards.
• Provide technical consultancy and recommendations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Scope penetration tests, ensuring legal and standard compliance.
• Deliver accurate technical results independently and under guidance.
• Perform complex penetration tests with systematic analysis.
• Identify vulnerabilities through configuration errors, coding flaws, and system issues.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Influence stakeholders through presentations, reports, and papers.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity developments.
• Support red team engagements and contribute to service development.

Required Skill Set & Experience

• CHECK Team Leader certification (Crest CCT INF advantageous).
• UK Government SC clearance.
• Experience in project scoping, proposal writing, and managing large projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of current cybersecurity trends and concepts.
• Mentoring experience and ability to manage junior staff.

Education

• BSc in IT, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or related fields (2:2 or above).
• Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CCSAS, OSCP, OSWE, OSCE, etc., are desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, with 2+ years delivering CHECK-standard penetration testing.
