Job Description:

Are you an experienced Licensed Engineer looking for a pivotal role in aircraft maintenance management? TARCG are seeking a dedicated and skilled Check Manager to join our clients dynamic team in Manchester.

In this critical role, you will ensure the highest standards of compliance, safety, and efficiency in aircraft maintenance and team management.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Oversight: Lead and manage allocated maintenance tasks, projects, and initiatives to meet deadlines and regulatory standards.
Leadership & Management: Oversee and support a team of engineers, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing regular briefings.
Quality Assurance: Issue certificates of release for specific aircraft, ensuring the integrity and technical compliance of all work completed.
Continuous Improvement: Develop solutions to meet maintenance targets within budget and conduct formal appraisals to identify staff development opportunities.
Reporting & Updates: Deliver daily progress reports and update senior management on key developments and issues.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety, carry out regular self-audits, and support quality audits to ensure strict adherence to procedures.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

Certification: Category B1/ B2 licensed engineers with C certification by aircraft type B777.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Base Maintenance as a B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Part 145 Aviation Legislation.
Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
Adaptability: Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
