Qualifications

• Good level of formal education.
• References will be obtained.
• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with funeral preparation and on the day services.
• Provide courteous, empathetic customer-facing support to clients.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Be available for out-of-hours rota including evenings and weekends (enhanced rates).

The role will be customer facing, often dealing with clients coping in difficult times. You will offer an empathetic approach and a sympathetic understanding.This role will offer a variety of responsibilities covering many different elements of the funeral industry to ensure the preparation beforehand, and on the day of the funeral, means we are able to provide a service of the highest standard.There is some level of physical work involved in the role which will require the candidate to have a reasonable level of fitness.The normal working hours are 8:30 – 17:00 but you will also be expected to join our ‘out of hours’ rota for evenings and weekends.
