Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment in London offers a Chartered Town Planner an opportunity to work on landmark projects with exposure to high-profile clients and a supportive, high-performing team in a central London office.

The role focuses on development management across major projects, with emphasis on client liaison, and guiding planning applications through the development cycle. Mentoring and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional planning experience within consultancy, developer or local planning authority (LPA).
• Strong skill set and expertise in development management.
• Membership of MRTPI is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Managing major projects and overseeing smaller development management processes, and assisting senior colleagues on more major developments.
• Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
• Managing pre-application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
• Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.
